PET AWARENESS & WELLNESS SOCITY
President & Founder
JULY 2023 - Present
So I got a dog... after struggling to learn how to navigate college with my pet companion, I discovered that I wasn't alone in this journey. Many other dog owners on campus faced similar challenges. It became evident that a communal space was needed—a place where pet owners could share experiences, advice, and resources. That's when the Pet Awareness and Wellness Society (PAWS) was born.

As the founder and president of PAWS, I took the initiative to create a platform where students could come together and celebrate the joys and responsibilities of pet ownership. In the early days, I rallied a small group of like-minded individuals who shared my vision. Together, we worked tirelessly to establish PAWS as a welcoming and inclusive community.

Our journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. I've had the privilege of working alongside passionate members who have poured their hearts into various initiatives. From organizing pet-friendly events on campus to advocating for pet-friendly policies in university housing, we've made meaningful strides in enhancing the lives of pet owners at our institution.

One of our proudest accomplishments has been our collaboration with Ringo the Patrol Pony—a symbol of unity and joy within our community. Through dedicated efforts, we've supported Ringo's mission and incorporated it into the fabric of our club. As a result, PAWS has become not only a place for pet owners but a force for positive change in the lives of both humans and animals.

As we continue to grow, my commitment to PAWS remains unwavering. I'm deeply excited about the future of our club and the opportunities we have to further enrich the lives of pet owners and their furry companions.
