The Mulroy Real Estate Challenge was a transformative experience that allowed me to immerse myself in the complexities of real estate development. Our team’s efforts led to a historic achievement, as we secured second place in a competition where both the first and second-place teams were from Virginia Tech—a first in the event’s history.

Throughout the competition, I led due diligence, analyzing city plans, historical data, and market trends to assess project feasibility. I designed innovative building plans under tight deadlines, and our team developed a compelling presentation deck that resonated with industry leaders. I also had the opportunity to present our strategies during multiple rounds, speaking confidently in front of an audience of 75+ professionals.

Engaging in this challenge was an invaluable experience, pushing me to step out of my comfort zone and hone my analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills. Beyond the technical aspects, it taught me the importance of teamwork, creativity, and the relentless pursuit of excellence. Additionally, I had the chance to network with professionals from the Philadelphia and New York areas, gaining insights and building connections that will benefit my future in real estate. This competition marked a significant chapter in my journey, reflecting my drive, adaptability, and passion for growth in the real estate industry.
